The 1508.5 Project, changed to the Weekday 3017 Project for at least the first half of May is make a dent on this soap tub. The winds have picked up an the fate of the Edmund Fitzgerald is not to far of in the future. I would say about 5-6 shaves.

Another three pass shave for a wonderful start to what is going to be a challenging day at my fathers house. I know it has to be done.

Hope you have a great day gentlemen.

Happy Monday Everyone. The MrEE brush with the SHD knot did a wonderful job lathering the La Toja shave cream. One more shave and this cream should be done and dusted. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby. However, negligence on my part led to a small nick. Oh well stuff happens. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

  6. Wonderful shave Dave. Got to love those consecutive shave days, I have not missed one in over 3.5 years. I just love the process. Could I skip a day here and there, sure, but then I miss out on my Zen for the morning. Superb decanter of the AV.

  7. Thank you Clint. My goal for the year will be to knock out five soaps in the hopes of reducing the den. I have been on a NB for soaps since last June. That being said, I really have not dented the den because of two soap acquisitions in the first three months of this year. My daughter gave me the MWF for my birthday and Linda Morris of Lakewood Soaps sent the Lard Lass Two Weeks with Pay as a thank you for being a soap tester. I do have some soaps on my wish list but they will have to wait. Joe, @Trigger, and I figured out during one of our LI 30DC meet ups that I have about 8 years worth of soaps, tubs no including samples, in my den.

    Stetson aftershave splash

Another great shave with Dave's @Dave in KY Yates razor. I will say this one was a little better than yesterday. Three very nice passes for a BBS with just a hint of alum. I am starting to see why everyone gives the Yates high marks.

A little witch hazel followed by some Stetson juice and this Monday shave is in the bag.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday.

  15. That razor appears to have significant blade exposure, Danny. What do you think?

  16. Birthday SOTD. Evan's LE brush built me up an excellent lather for today providing some great blade glide for my Gillette slim on setting 3. I didn't want the aftershave to overpower my fragrance for today so I threw on some witch hazel on top of it. Yesterday I tried a moisturizing technique for my cologne by putting some balm around my neck and letting it soak in before applying my cologne and it really made that Aqua Di Gio longevity nuclear.
