This was my first shave with @SlimGem 's Stoll Jr. Lather Catcher, and I was thoroughly impressed with the shave. I got a great smooth shave with no feedback and no stubble.

The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream lathered well with The SlimGem Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Stoll Jr. Lather Catcher with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Such a cool looking razor and the box is an awesome touch. That turquoise is such a classic color.

The Yaqi delivers excellent close Shaves to date, but there is now just a hint that the blade is starting to wane a little.

I usually get about 8 shaves out of my Kai Protouch guarded blades with a medium reg beard type using my Kai style folding shavette, nice blade IMO.

This razor first off maybe the one of the most utilitarian designs I've ever seen and used. Razor was sold by International Safety Razor putting it in the time frame from around 1918 to mid 1920s. Razor has plenty of blade feel but the angle keeps it safe enough so it scrapes and tugs hair when cutting instead of slicing skin. The shave was excellent with a BBS finished achieved with this razor being able to go toe to toe with any big boy razor you care to name.

Originally but the ones sold by ISR are 1918ish or later. The company didn't exist before then. The dime razor I have has original tin so I know for sure it was distributed by ISR.

What's your source? They would be wrong. There are multiple International Safety Razor Co. adverts in 1908-1914. The last one below specifically links ISR to your Dime Razor in 1910.

Waits correctly identifies the razor as ISR with 1907 patent.

    RR 400. SE-Plissoft noir
    Officina Artigiana soap
    Yaqi Raster V2 + S/S Handle
    Kai CT Mild Pink [ 7 ]
    Officina Artigiana A/S lotion

For my seventh Shave with this Razor I fitted it with a more conventional handle. Though it overlapped slightly the drainage channel it caused no problems, neither did the increased weight affect the manoeuvrability at all. The Shave quality was very good, though I feel that the blade has passed its best, usually I get a couple more with the Kai in other Razors.

My original research showed that Joseph Molkenthin, he had a bunch of razor patents specifically for the Clark King razors and maybe the first DE razor to compete with Gillette razors in 1908 left Clark Razor and Blade Co. around 1915ish and formed his own company called Molkenthin Manufacturing and by 1918 it had become International Safety Razor. I did some looking again and you are right ISR existed well before 1918, I found ads as early as 1907 for the dime razor. What is still correct is he did wind up at ISR by 1918 and by about 1920 ISR was selling razors based on his patents i.e. the Liberty razor also you can find evidence of other family members having patents assigned to them with ISR as the assignee as late as the 1930s.

Yes, I see other razors on offer by ISR into the 20s, though I didn't find any Dime razor - ISR reference after that 1910 ad.

1907 - 1910 is what I found for ads for the Dime razor.
