    Mike's is a very good soap indeed, Joseph, but I think the smoothness can be attributed to using a Super Speed instead of a Floating Head. I love my FH, but it isn't the easy, mindless shaver that a Super Speed (and many others) can be.

    I am referring to soaps that jack up their prices because of the addition of more skin food and the constant reiterations.

    Mike's and Stirling are the only two artisan soaps in my Top 5. Both are top shelf performers, and their prices are reasonable. Mike and Rod are super gents that are dedicated to their craft. I am happy to support their businesses in any way.

    Besides, I'm not impressed with soaps that add donkey milk, whale blubber, a purée of Fruity Pebbles, or panther sweat to their soap base. :D
