If you have time when you're in Fredrick, this place is worth stopping by. https://akafriscos.com It's a soup & sandwich place, and their claim to fame is the exploded potatoes. They're located in an odd spot - an industrial park. The food is very, very good there, and we always make it a point to stop when we're in the area.
Beautiful photo Dave. The report was simply excellent. I felt like smiling and crying with you at the same time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks very much Blair. My focus has thus far been been on editing, but you can't edit what you don't capture. Since Apple's Raw format is available to me, looking into Halide makes sense. -- Thanks again.
Yikes! A real haywire shave Dave, but clever: You're clearly saving up your good luck for later in the day.
May 12, 2021 Brass General Feather Pro MrEE with Maggard SHD Cade & La Toja Shave Cream La Toja Aftershave Happy Hump Day everyone. Well the La Toja shave cream is officially finished. I squeezed the remainder into a shave bowl and added Cade cream as needed. I will certainly buy some more La Toja shave cream when I have thinned the soap inventory down some. Three passes and touch ups ended in another automatic drama free BBS shave. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
Thanks! I checked their website and they have some nice salads, soups and sandwiches. I also went to Google Maps and it is only 1.6 miles away from my hotel. I probably will get to the hotel at 5 on Sat. so I could stop in the place for dinner. Obviously, Sunday is out and I am leaving 10 am Mon. so Sat early evening would be my best shot. Thanks for the suggestion Bruce.
You're quite welcome, joe! The place ain't fancy, by any stretch of the imagination. It's a little nicer than "industrial park restaurant" would have you believe though. It really is little more than a soup & sandwich place, however their menu is fairly large for what it is. Their baked potatoes, notably the exploded potatoes, are the star of the show. They're quite large and you can get a whole host of toppings on them. I suppose you could say that it's one of those "local secrets", but judging by the amount of folks there, the "secret" is out. If you try it out, please let me know what you think of the place. I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed.
