I'm glad your day was great. We lived in Canarsie, although I was too young to remember. As I got older, I remember that my family regarded Nassau and Suffolk as a "promised land" of sorts, a place where there was more open space, and where the best parks and beaches were. I'm sure the area has been built up and stuffed full of people, but 60 years ago, it was a refreshing getaway from the five boroughs. You know the old saying "the grass is always greener on the other side." Well, at least you had grass.

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Bar Soap With Mint Extracts. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather : Palmolive Classic Shave Cream.
Blade: Gillette Nacet. (D2)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Premium TTO.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils. + 3 Menthol Crystals, Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Aloe Vera Gel./Gillette Blue ASL.

Man I love this scent that brings back memories and wish I had it in a modern base I could appreciate more. What a great shave with the Gillette Raised Flat Bottom Single Edge and an Astra SP blade. Florida Water for the finish and good to go for the day. Have a stellar day Everyone !!

Clubman cannot contain real Oakmoss, Paul. Maybe it once did 40-50 years ago, but no way today. Not for the price they sell their juice, anyway, forgetting about IFRA regulations. Because of IFRA, the Oakmoss accord must be accomplished using aroma chemicals. Too bad, I say. Oakmoss adds that "soapy" quality. I think it's amazing. Clubman...not so much.
