  12. Flea mall straight razors from yesterday. The cases were mixed up when I bought them.

    First up.....

Schmidt & Ziegler El Toro 63. I think this razor is new old stock. It appears the razor still has some type of cosemolen coating on the blade. I think this one is going to pay Bill @Edison Carter a visit at his illegal underground honing lar.

Next up is a Wade and Butcher Bow razor that needs some TLC and a new set of scales.

  15. Me thinks the use of the weightlifters axe-sized straight razors are to blame. Joe might not know his own strength.

@Trigger - all in good fun my brother. It will pass.

I never used to get weepers. As my shaving abilities advance and the really close shaves are routinely easier, I noticed it more often.
  16. @Primotenore

IFRA appears to be a voluntary association of fragrance manufacturers that proactively attempts to keep their own house in order with respect to possible consumer safety concerns. This ideally deters regulatory agencies from stepping in with mandatory requirements. Other industry associations use similar playbooks to build consumer confidence and protect their businesses from excessive regulation, activist groups, etc.

With scents containing natural Oakmoss, you'd think a cautionary note on the label would suffice. (When I'm trekking in the woods and wearing my favorite bird-watching shorts, I always exercise caution to avoid rubbing up against the trunks of oak trees. :)) Sad situation for sure -- with the Oakmoss scents, not me frolicking around in short pants -- but it's the world in which we live.

  17. If you have not gone that way already, look at using lump charcoal. It leaves much less ash.
  18. Send it along........

I work for free, or not at all though.
