  1. Thanks Charlie.

This is our first Farmall M. We always tinkered with the smaller Farmalls. IH built right around 250,000 Ms. It was there best ever selling tractor and their largest for years.

Funny little story. We unloaded it in our neighbors field across from the house. He let us borrow his Kubota tractor to pull up to our shop. The tractors are about the same horse power. The Kubota almost made it but could not keep traction. These newer tractors ain't got enough weight.

    Take care.

  4. Thank you Jason. I guess after 41 years I can hang in there for another six weeks.
  5. Thanks, Blair.
Beard's gone and I'm about due for a haircut. It's been a few years since I've done a buzzcut. Maybe this time.

  6. I'm going to send the the Eltoro to Bill and let him work his magic. We shall see but I would like to give it a go. Take care.
  7. Looks even better in person.
  8. Anyone that post pictures of delicious bacon needs to be and deserves all the ribbing he can stand. :D
  9. We all have bad shaves at time. It is just part of it.

Great choice on the knot. I really like it and I think Andrew chose that one as well.
  10. Thanks Blair on both counts.

  11. Ya'll are knocking um out if the park. Great shave today, gentlemen.
  12. I had a Cub Cadet 1812 for 20 years. It was a pretty impressive little grass-mowing and hauling beast for a city boy like me. I think it weighed in at about 1000 lbs without the city boy. It was always kinda tempermental, though. Always wished I had spent a few extra bucks for a John Deere with the Kawasaki engine. If we had stayed in that house much longer, I would have checked out a ZT mower.
  13. ...and hydrostatic drive. They were good lawn mowers.

Sheet metal and junky front bumper removed. Someone was converting the tractor to 12 volt. The AC Delco alternator will be removed and an original generator will go back in its place. The tractor will go back to the original 6 volt system.

Right rear tire needs to be turned around.

Enough of the Farmall saga for today.
