  2. Under my jawline next to Adams apple grows in almost a circular pattern which requires passes from all directions. Try mapping that out :)
  3. Very nice Dave! Happy Monday!

Cool MMOC BT Joe, fun soap name. We're in our last week for school in our district...hope your day goes well!

Awesome Joseph! Love the razor and details.
  4. Haven't had much time to work on my other shaving contraptions so I may rip a page out of @Dave in KY book and just plunk this ancient blade in the Mühle and go for it !

  5. Thank you Charlie. We have been looking forward to this project since we bought the house. However, life and the kids took priority. We are both excited to finally get this underway.
  6. Excellent shave and recap Joseph.
  7. Nice patrick! Well not really nice but you go man!! Makes me wonder if we should do a week of bad shaves use five or more different ancient blades from that era but I don't think that my follicles could take it.....

  8. That DD razor has the thinnest grind I ever experienced. I think our perception of sharpness has to do with the thickness of the blade, hence DE blades feel sharper. My hollow grinds feel sharper than my near wedges even though I can tell the make the ATG pass with the same ease.

Colibri (Hummingbird) safety razor with 1.30mm base plate.
    Feather blade (fresh)
    Razorock 400 synthetic brush
    Fine Soap Snake Bite
    Royal Copenhagen cologne

Awesome lather this morning. I just love Fine soaps.

I did not get a shave in yesterday but boy did I get a good one in today. I throwed a fresh Feather in the Colibri with the 1.30mm base plate and went to work....well it really ain't work but you know what I mean. Three beautiful smooth passes with just a hint of alum. The Colibri is just a great solid razor that does not disappoint.

A little witch hazel and a few squirts of the Royal Copenhagen and this one is in the bag.

    Happy Monday everyone!

  10. Very good Joe...thank you, it does appear to be easy. Where did you get the silicone-hardware store?

  12. That's right....you have to SQUIRT your RC, whereas mine is a liquid(looks like a regular aftershave bottle).

  13. Thanks for the heads up Patrick. I found out the hard way that this blade is not that smooth. However, I will use this blade for a 2nd shave in the Model T and lower the setting to see if it feels different. If it doesn't, then I may just do the 1 and done per your suggestion.

Happy Monday Everyone. I am moving slow this morning and decided it would be best to work remotely. I think I will be using Mike's Bay Rum much more often over the next several weeks. I hope to sink this soap and move on. The Brad Sears disco did its job eating through the soap and whipping up a rich slick lather. Since I have not used the Pils since March, I had forgotten just how smooth this razor shaves. With its narrow sweet spot, the Pils requires me to be on my game. When I do my part the shaves are smooth and efficient. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

  19. Maggard's website. It's a one use packet for a buck and change. Since I bought the knot from them, I figured it was a good move to buy the silicone adhesive and also the alum in the order. At this time, I am not interested and buying handles and knots so I don't need to buy a large supply of silicone or epoxy.
