May 17 SOTA Good afternoon guys! Shavette Shave #261 Dovo Shavette Personna Hairshaper Blade (11) C-Mon Heritage Collection Super HD Badger Brush Stirling Coconut Lime SS and AS Maggard's Alum Block Dickinson's WH Beard: 30hrs I haven't used my C-Mon brush in awhile and it was time to use it. This brush really is a great performer because it always gives me a creamy, slick lather. The donut hole is getting bigger and hopefully by the end of June , Stirling Coconut Lime will be gone. I have been using it for my undocumented headshaves. Anyway, the Personna Hairshaper blade is still sharp to easily shave my 30 hr stubble with only 2 passes of WTG and ATG and no touchups, no nicks and no irritation. The result was a super BBS shave just shy of passing the cotton ball test. Surprisingly, I didn't reopen the numerous cuts from yesterday's disastrous shave. In fact, they are healing very well that it almost looks like they will be completely gone by tomorrow. It is a good thing to see my face looking nice once again. Tested my shave with the alum block and there was not any stinging. Splashed on the witch hazel and the Stirling matching aftershave and was quite pleased with this exceptional comeback shave. Btw, I have seen some reviews and a Nick Shave vid. on the 7 o'clock Permasharp blades and they said that they are sharp, but not smooth. In fact, Nick got weeps and burning irritation like I experienced yesterday. I won't give up on those blades just yet. Anyway, have a great evening guys.
What a disappointment this was . The shave went fine and I thought I was videotaping but apparently I wasn't. All I got was a lousey pic of myself . Amazingly this blade knocked down 4 days growth without much tugging and no blood .
That is too bad Patrick. Well, the month isn't over so you still have time. Great pics, shave and lineup.
Cool, I may have some of them to try. Need to dig around. Sorry the video didn't take. Any stropping of it or just used it out of the wrapper ?
