  8. Super combination and image again Barry!

Very nice razor Joe! @Keithmax’s comments on Japanese straights/steel back in 2019 influenced my purchases. Your Takehashi is a great example!

Such a cool unique razor Dave! Great piece of history there, love the video with all the details. Nice.

Love the thoughts on your focus Troy! Keeping the razor/blade/brush variables constant definitely helps one realize the small differences of the soaps qualities. Nice looking setup!

Very nice Clint! Love the brush & image.

Love the R41 on the straight stand, a little inference maybe? ;) Great looking shave and fragrances Keith!

Clubman Thursday for win Danny! A couple of the clubman fragrances are wifey appreciated round here too. Nice!

Great shavette results Joe! Love the image and comments.

    Mike's Hungarian Lavender~~Simpson D3~~Boker Red-Injun No. 101~~Michael for Men
Back with the Boker. Love this blade.
Mike's is a great soap, but imo, his Hungarian Lavender is his masterpiece.

The D3 really knocked it outta the park today.

That shine, which is probably making you squint is
no trick of the camera. That pure gold.
Keen edge + pretty good technique = great shave.

This is probably my signature scent. Amazing juice. So great, that I have two back up bottles.

Primo tip: IF you are looking for this juice, don't confuse it with Michael Kors for men.
That bottle looks like this and there is no comparison.

I realized that I hadn't used a Gem-style razor in quite some time. Pulled out the EverReady, which was a Christmas gift from Swmbo. No idea how many shaves were on the Gem blade, but it seemed to have plenty of life left. Hadn't used the MM soap in awhile either, as Mrs Spartan has banned the companion splash. She called it 'perfumy' as I recall. It is based on a unisex scent (Creed Silver Mt. Water), but I honestly don't get that perfumy vibe at all. I quite like this scent, actually. I do like the Stirling lather, and the ability to quickly apply some awesome Eau Sauvage afterwards helps keep this soap in the den. I was quite smooth after 3 passes- I probably need to grab for this razor a little more often.
    Have a great day all!
  14. Well tonight is graduation night and I’ve got a little mail call in. This right here is the rich man shaving 30mm lava flow brush. I think it’s either silver tip or pure badger. I don’t exactly know. I’m quite new to natural brushes. Saw this thing for a good deal online and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

  18. A Shavette Fu kind of day...

Agree 100% on the Nacets, Barry. A great combination of sharpness and smoothness. Works on alligators, too...
What a beautiful razor, Dave. Congrats! So many of those vintage Wilkinsons (do you own a 7 day set?) are so very detailed. Awesome.
I've heard that Furbo is a very nice Floid dupe, Troy. Is it a fave?
Still the colour match king. Everyone else can go home now. Your thoughts on the scent, Jim?
Still going with the Bay Rum, Clint! A very nice black and white this morning as well.
Love your combo this morning, Keith. Your brush has held up very well. No monkey suit here today- needed to be comfortable for a 6 (!) hour policy meeting coming up...
Very nice, Danny. You hope everyone is smelling at least that good? I can safely say that is probably true.
I think it must be the silicone's inability to stick to the Delrin, Joe. I'd be interested to see if another knot did the same thing with the same silicone.
YOUR signature scent? Now that is high praise indeed. Awesome, Joseph.
A very nice brush indeed, Myles. Congrats!
  19. Thank you Jason. Looking forward to using it in the next shave!
  20. Thanks Blair have a great day!
Thanks Jason and yes one of the 7-Day sets came in that lot purchase that this was in.
