    So far, I have not had any problems with my knot using silicone, albeit I have only used my brush twice.
    I put layer on the base and the side wall of the knot hole as well as the bottom and the entire circumference of the ferrule. I don't forsee any problems because I used enough silicone. @JACarbone Joe, did you apply the silicone in the same manner as I?

    Congrats Myles! Rich from RichManShaves was a frequent YouTuber but he is mostly into producing brushes than vids. It is a nice brush. Enjoy your 2 months of freedom.

    Good afternoon guys!

    10/8 Max Sprecher (46)
    Catie's Bubbles Tuxedo Brush
    Stirling Satsuma SS and Aftershave
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's WH
    Whiskers: 35 hrs

    It's another fine shave with Max and Stirling Satsuma. I just love this scent because it is very stout.
    Max keeps plugging along as he takes down my stubble in two passes and gives me a near BBS shave. There weren't any errors whatsoever. I applied the alum and got very little stinging on the neck, but none elsewhere. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave and I am pleased with my shave. Have a good evening guys!
