Another bargain aftershave from Lidl, X-Bolt. I've had the EDT for a while now, and agree with its similarity to Boss Bottled.

An excellent early morning shave. I can’t explain why I don’t use the Sabre & GEM SS blade combo enough. I’m just a straight up buffoon. I do enjoy variety in my shaves but, this razor should be a mainstay in my weekly shave rotation, at least once a week. There are only 2 soap & splash creations in the wet shave field that I truly consider to be a virtual masterpiece in scent & performance. One being Wholly Kaw Chypre Rose Concierto and the other this creation here which was a collaboration between 2 great wet shave artisans, Declaration Grooming and Chatillon Lux. There is nothing quite like this scent with a masculine rose with a slight citrus sweetness and an earthy but, lightly green & refined patchouli note. This creation should be resurrected once again it is that good. A wonderful day and shaves to all....​

 

Quite frankly I prefer the V1 Maggard head, but it seems they're gone.
Yesterday it hasn't been much of a shave, but I'm pretty sure that's due to the blade.
I plan to test the combo tomorrow with a new blade.

that lookes to me (and not only me) like the Maggard.
These Razorbladesandmore razors seem to be made by the same manufacturers of many Eastern brands, so I am thinking of going through the nuisance to order the head hoping Italian customs won't harass me too much.

I appreciate your comments as they are a base for reflecting.
Alas i'm not sure i understand 'giving more mass': you meant adding weight to the handle?

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher with a Heljestrand Wedge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Such a frigid feeling from today’s shave - the Glacial Lemon Chill soap’s beautiful scent filled the bathroom, the lather was sumptuous, the menthol sensation froze my face almost immediately, and the postshave feeling was perfect. The matching balm has the exact same scent along with a lot of iciness as well as soothing, and the Citrus Melody aftershave not only is a menthol atom bomb, it smells so beautiful and it feels so good on my skin. Three glorious passes were enough to clean me up and I ended up BBS!

Hacked Single-Guard Barbasol NFH/Proline B20.

The NFH Barbasol is a fairly mild shaver and the first shaves with a half DE blade (flush against the stops) in this razor were ok but not really worth the trouble.

In contrast the Proline B20 eyeballed to provide decent exposure gives a great shave. Not quite as cool as the Enders which is a more natural fit but still a thing I'll happily repeat.

Officially finished my Vetyver MDC, roughly 8 months of daily shaves.
