  2. I think the Texans would take this opportunity to have a tailgate party if they knew they were not getting in to do their business. Seriously, your DMV situation is terrible. My license technically expired last June, but was considered licensed because of the grace period that was given. I waited until the period was almost over because I figured that this pandemic nighttmare would be over. Like I said, I hope to take the eye exam at the DMV sometime this year or early next year.

  13. Well.....we do bring chairs/phones/headphones and/or books to wait in line. The online process works painlessly, if it applies to your renewal 'condition'. For 18 (and under) or an address change....every process is in person. Same goes if you are not a TX resident. I think I remember.....once you're 65, it's every 2-3 years in person, over 75 (thereabouts), every single year. I'll pay better attention when I get there. ;)

There were some grace periods for the COVID 19 situation (which have now expired), but it didn't change much for minors and/or non TX residents or address changes. Still have to go in.

Online works for vehicle registration or it's not bad in person if you have to. That office is separate (from Driver's License) if you have to go in, usually in/out in 30-45 minutes if you have the documentation right.

@myles wilson -> Texas' situation is similar to California, just too many people!

  17. Wednesday's Shave

    RazoRock Lupo 72
    Gillette Platinum (2)
    Simpson T3
Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill Shaving Soap
    Lucky Tiger AS & FT
    Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill Aftershave

This has been my same shave setup for the past three days. It has proven to be an exceptionally cold, yet relaxing experience each day. One change I made from my daily routine is the substitution of Lucky Tiger instead of the usual witch hazel wipe down after the cold water rinse and before the AS application. I can't say that this experiment has really improved the shaves, except for the chance that my face may feel slightly more hydrated in the post shave. One thing made clear however is that this routine shakeup has made me realize that I should use the Lucky Tiger AS & FT more often; it's good stuff.

2 passes this morning provided a chilly, comfortable and efficient result with no irritation or mishaps.

  18. Terrific shave, pic, post and lineup Andrew! You can't go wrong with Stirling products. My only two mentholated soaps are Proraso Green and Cbiseled Face Cryogen. Proraso is mild and Cryogen is freeze your face off cold. Have a nice day.
