Jim does great work with brushes. he restored my grandfathers shave brushes, plus he made a Marine Corps for me.
I will feature the Marine Corps brush on Memorial Day.

    Hi Friends,

    here my yesterday’s shave (26.05.2021)

    188EDCB4-5633-476D-AAC5-B12996A08F54.jpeg
Razor: Weber// Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium// Soap: WSP Mahogany // Brush: RazoRock 400 // Aftershave: Bulldog ASB

Maaaan, great great shave. It was absolutely the right decision to order this sample. The full tub will follow next year, that‘s sure.

Luxurious lather with a fantastic scent. The sweetness in it is hard to describe but it is not overpowered and pairs very nicely with the woodsy scent. Like it very much.

The brush had no problems creating this wonderful lather. So it has been a pure joy to let the Weber do it‘s „work“.

After the shave my skin felt so relaxed, that it really didn‘t need the Aftershave Balm. Great soap!!!

That‘s it for now my friends. Enjoy your shaves, take your time, stay safe and stay healthy.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Razor: somefa
    Blade: treet carbon
    Brush: culmak boar
    Soap: WSP Lavender
    Post: Lavender Witch hazel
    A/S : The Veg

The razor is great. The treet.... not bad, but maybe not the sharpest. The brush is old, smelly and stiff.. lol hey not everything ( or everyone ) ages well.... the soap....
The soap!!! I love it and I dont say it often enough. As a matter of fact i dont see many people using it nor praising it often. The damn things almost lathers itself and the slickness!! My lord what a great soap. Its a plain jane ( or john ) on the outside.. buuut in the inside... shiiiiit open the lid folks and let it looose! The veg is the veg... majestic in all its cat piss glory! Lol ok.. i may have gone too far with this post.. BBS Smoooth

I think the head is a DE89, making the handle the only difference. And the handle is decent with a decent knurling. The razor is plated zymak I think, so it's not an heirloom quality razor. Also, if not dropped and if properly looked after it could last years. My original started to get corrosion then the screw threading broke on the cap when I dropped it. It was within 1 year of buying it, so Edwin Jagger sent me a new head at no charge. The handle and base plate are still the original razor. The cap was a replacement. The razor is 5-years old with a 4+ year old cap. And I think it will last at least another 5 years if I don't drop it again. No obvious signs of any corrosion on the cap's threads at this time. So, the replacement they sent was a well made one and I suspect the original cap was a defective one.

50 shaves? That blade must not even be within its proper measurement tolerances anymore. :D
