Mail call today... A big tube of vintage Palmolive Lather Shaving Cream from the 1960s or 1970s. A new Japanese suribachi bowl for lathering. Small 4 inch. I like that it's not only small but has a thumb rest/grip too. Also seen next to my 7 inch suribachi bowl I purchased in 2012. A Gillette 1932 Ford V8 Delivery Van die-cast toy car made by Eligor, 1/43 scale, for my shaving-related die-cast collection.
Some people really like the vintage brushless creams. I avoid them myself because I like using my brushes.
Saturday mail call is a vintage bottle of Canoe aftershave. Anyone have an idea when this bottle was made? There is a barcode on the bottom of the box.
I haven't bought much of anything let alone a Gillette razor in awhile. Figured go big or go home and finally caught a white whale this time.
Monday’s mail call is as follows. From an eBay seller I got Brut Sport Style and Original in the glass bottles. From Maggard Razors I got Saponificio Varesino Manna Di Sicilia aftershave.
Stopped by The Shave Supply in thousand oaks, california and got me a few goodies. I went for the snake bite and some fine santal. I bought a tuck of treet carbons and minora since ive never tried either.. he had a couple of testers and threw them in since they were discontinued and he no longer sells it. Mail call today... Some NOS Gillette Lather Shave Cream. 1970s/80s. Contains peanut oil. That intrigued me, plus having never used any Gillette shaving cream before... Would it be rancid spoiled peanut scent? hahaha Nope. It's actually a nice scent.
Congrats on the shave cream. I accidentally ran into a video you did years ago on youtube. It was the one with the cool ass razor from france.

These came in today. The plasti dip is for my rubber stamp holder which im coating to store my brushes. Faberge aftershave and cologne set Aristocrat case Milord w/ case Gem Gold Big fellow The shaving community is truly generous. I purchased the stirling soap from ebay and the seller threw in the 2 van yulay shave soaps for free! Yesterday i received my hershey bowl Which im not happy about the condition.
