Very good Clubman shave this morning(+ for good measure, the Clubman shampoo in the shower). I made a decision-once the shaving cream is ready to flip, I'll order the "Brushless" persuasion of same. It's a jar, and you just dig in with your fingers to get good lather to spread. I've always enjoyed the shaving cream, but it's a nuisance to me that it comes out like a squiggly snake. Does the job, though. I did get a Knick along NW Porcupine Alley, in the very area that I believe needs the sensitive" approach. Other than that, all went real well. As I say, I'll finish out the can, then get the brushless jar, which is supposed to give you more of that "just came from the barbershop" sensation(Not that the can doesn't do this). . I think the idea was "You like the can? You'll LOVE this!". Anyway, Super Duper Excellent for this shave.

Gents, my No Buy is still intact. Full disclosure, I picked up an inexpensive Omega boar brush (think it cost $7) for giveaway several months back. That didn't happen, I still have it, but it hasn't been taken out of the box. I'll either give it to someone or delay using it until after my NB period is complete. It has been rewarding to use up some odds and ends in my Den. I still have plenty of everything to last me a long time, while still enjoying a bit of variety, and I can honestly say I enjoy using everything I have. You'll soon see my mugshot on the shaving vendors' Top 10 Cheap Bum list. :)

The first items I'll get will be some kind of moisturizing balm or possibly another cologne, but that will be awhile. I may also get some lanolin to mix in with my MdC as @clint64 and others have done.

@jtspartan you may continue to quake in your boots. :happy097:

    Delrin handle shave brush
    Mitchell’s Wool Fat Soap
    Royal Copenhagen cologne

The Fat was just pure awesome this morning. I really enjoy this soap.

The shavette shaves are getting a little easier. I completed two nice passes with no blood loss and the alum was barely noticeable. Things are improving. It just takes practice.

A little witch hazel and a few squirts of the juice and this shave was in the bag.

My lapping film and chromium oxide is suppose to be here today. My strop came in yesterday. I'm going to try and find some time over this long weekend to do a little honing. I've got a lot to learn but I have some great support here which I appreciate.

Happy Friday everyone. It has turned into a busy one.

As part of my PD today I did not pull my physique out of the bed until 8:30. I guess I needed the rest. Following my X3Bar workout and a hot shower, a fabulous three pass shave was in order. It did not disappoint. Super smooth and clean has me ready to celebrate my little man’s birthday. He is now whopping 11. Time sure flies.

Anthony wants to hit the movies and have some Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. Nice and simple. Hope you have a fantastic day gentlemen.
