  1. Sounds good, Paul. I'm sure the Clubman cream will be good also. Regardless of the product, you can never go wrong by applying a little extra and taking a little more time to get a nice lather. I've used the TOBS Sandalwood brushless as well, and it works fine.

I can't believe that it is the 15th shave on this blade and I still got a BBS shave on two passes without any incidents. Obviously, the blade isn't super sharp, but it still is sharp enough to give me a nice comfortable shave with some light buffing. I am scheduled for my last shave tomorrow afternoon to end Mayhem May. Do I dare try shave number 16 on this blade? No guts, no glory as the saying goes.
Hit the area with the alum and there was a slight feel, but that was fine. Afterwards, I applied the witch hazel and the aftershave to complete this session.
Btw, I finished the Stirling Coconut Lime tub. I only have 5 Stirling soaps left. I still have Satsuma, BoS, Spice, Christmas Eve and Frankincense and Myrrh. My total soap inventory is still 19 and I also have 2 creams. It looks as though I won't be buying soaps for awhile. Lol! Have a great day gentlemen!

  12. My younger brother and his family have been keto eating for about a year. Impressive results for them.

He was always very, very heavy. Morbidity obese, in fact. Years back, he even had his stomach sleeved, in which his results plateaued.

Since he got his body chemistry into ‘fat consumption’ all his numbers drastically improved. I can now actually call him my ‘little brother’.

Probably a change I’ll make one day.
  13. I can share some soaps if you have the urge to try an artisan foreign to you. Congratulations on sinking another tub Joe.

    Congratulations Myles!
  15. Wonderful results occur when you increase your fat intake of saturated fats and reduce the linoleic acid fats associated with the high processed foods and heavy carb base of the Great American diet. I can attest to this as I have seen tremendous results when I was on a strict carnivore diet. I think it is time to do another cycle of the Carivore diet as I have put back on just a few pounds since I have begun to incorporate carbs back in to my diet. Of these trips to Florida with constant eating out probably is the main culprit.

Here are two books that are a very interesting read:
The Carnivore Code. By Paul Saladino
Eat Rich, Live Long. By Igor Cummins
  16. I had to move my Clubman shave cream can into my bedroom, which already has a lot of stuff. No room at the "Inn".
  17. Reminds me of when a short lady at the gym pointe d to a huge fella and said he was her "little brother".

  18. Congrats to your brother on his transformation. Everyone goes through a different journey to get healthy. As you may or may not know, my BMI was close to 31 which classified me in the obese class 1 category. I loved food, but hated to exercise. Now, I still love food, but I love to exercise. The point that I want to make is most people can lose the excess weight, but it is quite difficult to keep it off. I had to change my mindset about food. I can eat anything I want, but I try not to go overboard.

  20. Congrats to your brother! Fat is fuel!
It's a whole different mindset. We've all been taught the food pyramid since we were kids. The trick for us was finding creative ways to use the ingredients available to us. We've been eating like this since January of '17 with breaks for birthdays, Christmas and vacations.
Good luck to you if you decide to try this way of eating or any other. I'm here for you for any advice or moral support.
