  1. Alabama awesome shave Danny! I prefer the Personna Hairshaper blades in my Dovo Shavette as well because they cover more area per stroke. I am glad that I was your inspiration for your shave. Thanks for the shoutout. Have an awesome day!
  2. Thanks, Joe!

  6. May 2021 Recap

I was so intent on getting some things done this morning, that I forgot to post my monthly recap. A couple of things come to mind. I finished a soap and the R48 Focus is a blood letting machine. Seriously, May 2021 has been a very good month. I am starting to get caught up with work. I was able to visit Asha. The master bathroom is getting remodeled. Most importantly, I got to hang out with you guys. Thanks for letting me tag along.

Mid morning shave after the X3Bar Workout. Better enjoy them because once the shoulder surgery occurs, out of commission at 4-5 months. :angry019: Following the shave, I commenced with my annual splitting of wood. I worked for about an hour and a half. I managed to split 4 wheel barrels full.

Regarding the shave, it was a very nice and close shave. It did not fall into the category of yesterday’s shave but it was enjoyable nonetheless. Three passes as is my norm did the job. The alum did report a bit of irritation but overall not that bothersome.

Hope you all are having a wonderful Memorial Day gentlemen.

  12. You did not miss as it has not be scheduled as of yet. This Friday I have to go for an MRI and CT scan. The doctor is going to find a tear in there at least. He took X-rays a week ago which showed the ball in the shoulder joint is sitting bone on bone and has worn away of time.

I have an appointment with him on the 15th. I am targeting the beginning of August as I have another trip to Florida for tending to some of the remaining of my Father’s stuff and a vacation as well. July we have a few BBQ’s, which I will post some pictures of my culinary talent for all to visually enjoy.

Naturally, when I informed SWMBO of the news of the surgery, I got the “You should have done this years ago”:yoda

It took awhile but I finally succumbed to your enabling. I ordered a carbon steel frying pan. I can't wait to get it, season it up and do some cooking.
Love your end of the month recaps.
