A shout out to @Hembree for the YAQI Katana SE head that he kindly PIF'd to me. I placed the Gillette NEW SC head I got from @jtspartan aside and decided to take care of business with the matching handle. This was my first shave with these new toys and my first non-cart shave in about three months. The Katana is just a fun razor to use. The angle is easy to find, and I was rewarded with a near-BBS shave. A few minutes after my shave was complete, I noticed a few small red dots on my neck. I hope to dial it in over the next few shaves. My LE brush made a fantastic TOBS lather. I had a time figuring out how to use synthetic brushes until Jason's two LE brushes's hit my den. If I add water slowly to the brush tips and take my time, the lather just explodes. I'll reach for my two LE brushes from Jason more often than just about any brush in my den.
