I decided to go with a fall scent given the dreariness of the morning. Early morning X3Bar Pull workout, love getting it done early. I feel invigorated the rest of the morning. This a prep for the upcoming MOLC. I did my usual three pass shave with a new blade in the beautiful RG Catacomb 2 razor. Such wonderful craftsmanship. The results were fabulous. June 3, 2021 Wolfman WR1-OC (0.61mm) Feather Simpson CH3 Synthetic Godrej Menthol Mist Myrsol Agua Balsamica WSP Citron Solid Cologne Happy Thursday everyone. My Simpson CH3 synthetic brush was finally delivered yesterday. It took almost a month for shipping by FedEx. Somehow the package stayed in Dallas Texas for almost 2 weeks. Oh well, I am glad the brush arrived safely. Given my complete lack of patience, it is no surprise what brush I decided to use today. The CH3 did a wonderful job whipping up the Menthol Mist into a rich slick lather. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
Safe travels Joe! 600 miles round trip....no big deal, it's all the other drivers to watch out for. Reliable vehicle, good tunes and strong coffee make the miles disappear. Last weekend driving the Beast (towing 5k car hauler/trailer), and most of it in the rain between locations: Friday morning - 292 miles Saturday - 0 miles Sunday night - 538 miles Monday night - 312 miles This weekend will be 624 miles (round trip). Lather. Rinse. Repeat every weekend til mid September.
Busting out a new tube of Nivea cream for this month. May just try to shave daily and see if I can put this tube to rest before month end . As I am now on a brushless kick lately I'll be face lathering with my hand . Today's blade is the Jillette Winner and razor is the Jillette Red Tip. Ja, I said Jillette
Nice pic, lineup and shave Patrick. I understand a little variety in one's shave routine is good. In my case, I just like lathering my face with a brush. I think it is so cool doing it that way. Now, I do apply brushless Cremo with my hand for my headshaves. Enjoy your day!
Thanks Patrick. I will start out Sat. morning and make a stop or 2 along the way before I arrive at the hotel in the early evening. My nephew's wedding is at 2pm Sunday with the reception that ends at 5 pm. I will be leaving for Long Island Monday morning.
