C.V.H. M.K. 133, soap and balm were Pre de Provence lathered with a 2-band Duke 3 copy. A super slick soap and solid balm, the bergamot and thyme scent is mild, and somewhat reminiscent of Haslinger marigold but not the same.

Filarmonica 14 Gen 1 Rejoneo, soap was the new Czech and Speake 88 lathered with a Thäter boar - for about a minute and a half, 125 swirls. After shave was ABC red sandalwood. This is not a good performing soap, more like the classic English hard soaps that don’t lather. I’d avoid the new version.

King Pelican 14, new C&S soap was used for the last trial, brush was a Persian Jar 3 and C&S 88 AS finished up. I used the puck as a stick then lathered with the brush, and for the second pass I just lathered the soap in my hands.
