***EDIT - Great shave today. 2 passes and very slight touch-ups. I really like the efficiency of the Rex Ambassador on a "3" setting with the Astra blade. It worked well. The Chill Mill would win an award from me for that invention being able to make any shave into a menthol shave. It's a fantastic shaving tool to have in the den. The shave felt cool and fresh.

Great shave before work today with a new fangled two sided thingie. First use of the new Pearl Flexi. It was gifted to me by a friend in India. The Pearl Man soap smells like a Tootsie Roll and worked good with the Pearl Synthetic brush. I enjoyed the shave from the India made blade as well. As a touch of class the razor says “ shaving with fuzzy” on the cap. Love it. There is a video of the shave on my youtube. (shaving with fuzzy)

here my just ended Shave of the Day (06.06.2021)

I am so happy. I had loaned the soap and the razor to a good friend and got them back yesterday. My equipment actually looked different, but since the visit was extremely spontaneous, I just HAD to use the two things. It could not be otherwise...

Yesterday directly sniffed again and again this dreamy smelling soap. Awesome!!! I was also extremely looking forward to the razor. Have not used it for ages and then it was also lent forever. So off to the bathroom and let the very good brush do its job. What came out? For me, absolutely brilliant lather.

In addition, this fragrance ... What more can I say? The razor slid through the stubble as if on ice. After two passes I could have actually stopped, but the dreamy smelling lather and the great feeling of the razor let me do a third pass. Pure wellness!!!

As Aftershave I only used Witch Hazle with grapefruit scent. Great great shave!!!

Spaghetti Bolognese is cooking right now. Let‘s see what the day brings additionaly after this fantastic shave.

This morning I wanted to show my Plissoft 26mm some love and I’m so happy that I did because it’s an awesome lather maker. It made the Glacial Black Cherry soap bury my face in rich, super slick, frigid, delightfully scented lather which also had brilliant postshave care. The Glacial Unscented balm kept the freeze going, its moisturising and soothing sensation is A1, not to mention how lethally cold the Arctique aftershave is and what a lovely scent it has. Another picture perfect BBS shave!

The Vintage Life Morning TOST Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #222 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

- Simplex three-piece military razor circa 1942-44. The razors were procured by the Chief Quartermaster of the European Theater of Operations during WW II - Stock No. 29-R-1035. The razor cap is metal, base plate and handle plastic. Mfg by the Federal Razor Blade Co. of New York. Razor weight 0.94 oz

NOTE: One of the smoothest shavers in my collection. Amazing.

Sunday Schick Shave, June 6th 2021

Razor: Schick injector i2 with hydro magic- Mfg 1954-57 milder mid range, nice shaves, easy to maneuver the face, light weight & good results.
Blade: Personna injector SS PTFE(8) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable.
Soap: Italian barber Amici, nice calming citrus scent, excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Razorock 24mm noir 400 synthetic, 3rd synthetic I ever owned 3 years ago, soft tips, great scrubber for those who like some backbone, great painter. For the time I bought this one it was popular brush & now it is seldom seen. Times change!
Pre shave: Brush(dedicated Yaqi Cashmere synthetic) wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Italian barber Amici(mild red grapefruit scent) with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my i2 injector with a Personna coated blade.
