Ever wonder how many shaves in each tub or tube of Proraso? I have three tubs of Proraso and will be skimming a small amount using an espresso coffee spoon for each shave. In addition I want to include Proraso Blue. They don't sell it in tubs so I'll be using the cream for this late entry. I'm really looking forward to enjoying the journey. I'll be keeping track of each shave in my daily shave reports. Viva Italia!

i have all 3 of them, and i am wet shavng since january. yes i used some arko and some tabac but proraso was my main daily soap.
total used soap is around 80gr for all 3. so i assume 10-12m usage for one pack.

mine is very rough, a consistent review like yours will be appreciated :)

Are you going to weigh the soap, before using? :signs002: Inquiring minds want to know.

Primo I thought about that but sadly I don't have a kitchen scale! I even thought about weighing the amount I skim with the espresso spoon so we'll just have to patiently wait to see how long this takes. If Glondus is right this project will likely take us into 2024. Sounds like a space mission to one of the outer planets in our Solar system! :)

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see how it go's.

I have the red cream and green soap and enjoy my shaves with both of them.

Curious how the white compares to them?

Thank you for following! White definitely has a lighter scent which I like. The balm though has a more pronounced scent which is one of my favorites! Their is plenty of room for all three in my den. All three are winners in my book!

    Proraso is not MdC.
    Maybe just before 2022 summer.
BTW, a scale is available in the supermarket.

We'll see how it goes. Remember I have three tubs and I'm using a tiny spoon to just barely skim the surface. From past experience if I were 'blooming' the soap along with filling the brush then each tub would last no more than two or three months.

white is the worst smell in my opinion.
but i hate green tea smell as well:) it is too grassy for me. with the second pass, menthol takes over green tea and becomes ok for me. but i will not refill it when it finishes. i am very happy with green and red.

    I'll read with pleasure.

All depends on how many passes and which brush.
In my experience, Proraso needs at least one / two grams with synth brush for the daily three passes.
Much more with natural fibers, specially if huge.

Thank you for following this thread! Three passes is my standard. Thus far I have plenty of lather. I bet Ischia is beautiful. I've been to Capri and have amazing memories of the Amalfi Coast!

I'm a little confused about what you're trying to discover. If all 3 tubs are the same weight when sold and you basically scoop the same amount each shave, wouldn't all the tubs have the same number of shaves ? The only difference should be the variance of not having scooped identical amounts for each shave......
