Thanks Danny. I know you guys usually see me in just a tee, but I just wanted to share my experience with you all.
Thanks Joe! It was a nice wedding. It was not an elaborate reception and it ended about 5:30. I left a little earlier. I downloaded some pics of the wedding.
June 6 YAQI Katana SE head on Gillette handle Feather half-blade 30 Day Crew LE Poculi handle w/28 mm APShaveCo SynBad flat top knot Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood shave cream Alum, witch hazel, Stirling unscented body lotion, almond oil, Stirling BoS AS & Aramis I've completed a total of four shaves so far with this set up during June. I swap out half-blades after two shaves. The Katana is a fun razor to use and has earned a spot in my travel kit. I like the simple design. Blade loading is easy as there is no fiddling to get an even blade reveal. I'd consider it a medium aggressive razor head. The head mounted on the Gillette handle makes it very lightweight, causing the head to periodically skip if I don't pay attention and stretch my skin properly. Overall, the results are good, but I'm getting some mosquito bites with it. I'll continue with it for a few more shaves to see if I can dial in my technique a little better. June has started off with a bang (@Trigger has even donned some fancy duds down to the argyle socks for the occasion), and it's fun riding along with everyone. I hope you all are having a great weekend. Grace and Peace.
The Flame Thrower! My wife laughs at me when I get it out because I do sound effects. That thing is just too cool to not make sound effects. Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
