Wow, what a wonderful shave. Setting I (one) just as smooth as the •. At this setting steep or shallow, it's just smooth! Have a great day! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Yaqi Katana Astra SP (fresh) Hembree Delrin handle with Dscosmetics synthetic knot Fine Snake Bite Royal Copenhagen cologne Awesome lather this morning. Fine soaps never disappoint. I was lazy this weekend and did not get a shave in so the Katana had its work cut out for it. After seeing all of the Katanas come out to play I had to bring mine out. Three smooth and efficient passes with no blood loss. The alum was quite. A little witch hazel and Royal Copenhagen and I'm ready for Monday. I hope everyone has a great day.
Super shave with the Katana. As a travel razor, would you have any difficulties with the TSA if it was in a carry on bag?
Thanks Joe. You're quickly heading toward retirement. Early congrats! The Katana would be OK in carry-on, but not the blades. I'll save it for trips when I check a bag. I have a plastic handle Trac II for carry on. I once had a chrome-plated Trac II handle in my carry on, and TSA scanned my bag multiple times to figure out what they were seeing. If memory serves, that was the same time they opened the bag and swabbed the interior. I try not to put stuff in my carry on to draw this kind of attention. Besides, my ice cream cone melts if I have to stand in line too long.
My tribute shave to Matt Hilton, @120inna55 . I thank you for all of your tremendous contributions to the Traditional Wet Shaving world. You will be truly missed, brother. Glad you are enjoying it. I brought mine out this morning and it is a fun and efficient little tool. Hope you are doing good after the fall.
Gorgeous, Andrew. Very reminiscent of the pictures Matt would share. Well done. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
