    I can't speak to whether the JAWS baseplate does anything to the efficiency, as I don't have any other baseplates for it. I can send mine to you for a comparison, if you wish.

    I've had a good run with the GameChanger the past 3 days. Had a very smooth 3 pass shave early this morning with basically perfect results. This soap is a very nice, simple product. I do love a triple milled soap's lather, as least the ones that I have. The Bon Vivant is on the downside of the bottle. I'll miss it, but maybe not as much as Unconditional Surrender.
