You can remove the paint from those razors by soaking them in paint stripper. Chrome shouldn't be affected if razors aren't soaked for a long period of time. Another way is to soak them in brake fluid.

A couple of mail calls from a couple of generous men. Thank you both for these. The blade bank is complete a military set but he threw in the Russiam Gillettes in. Ive never tried these so im excited to try them. Thanks @PanChango . I saved these from being thrown out with the trash. Apparently these were not worthy to be owned and stored by @IAmTheJody. But he threw in the aloxite hone! Now lets see if i can finally get the vintage gillette blades to shave without tugging out each hair from their follicles
Went TJ Maxx and picked these up. 5 oz of proraso cream for $5 is a good deal The 2 polo deodorants ill admit were because all i can think about was eventually making shave sticks out of the containers… lol The old spice smelled nice and supposedly long lasting cologne ?? Hmm ill test that out.
Some new magnets for my metal bathroom wall cabinet finally rolled in today after about a month (thanks USPS).
Modern. A seller on eBay makes them. He has hundreds for all kinds of different things. They are all buy 1 get 1 free for $5.50 shipped. He only had two shaving related ones when I first purchased from him and I got to talking to him and he said he had several more files in his whatever he uses to make them and I motivated him to list all of the other ones he has. I've got two more coming from him but they were from an order on May 9th. He shipped them but they still have not arrived so he told me today he was going to replace them, no charge.
Nice haul. I’ve been haunting TJMaxx/Marshals for a couple of years now. Proraso, discontinued Crabtree & Evelyn, Art of Shaving, new Cremo body washes and shampoos, triple milled bar soaps, etc. I don’t always find something but they’re worth checking out once a month or so.
