  1. Best wishes for her fast and full recovery. Hernia repair surgeries just suck. I have had 5 repair surgeries along the incision where part of my colon was removed. I found it best to get up and walk as soon as the nurses suggested it. It is much easier when they have you on the good pain killers.
  2. Thank you Danny.

    Brush: Grizzly Bay PureMagic

    Good morning!

Setting III. I wonder what I did wrong? Harsh shave both shallow and steep. I rarely get weepers and I had two of them today. After the first couple of strokes I stopped to double check the topcap and blade alignment. All good there. I did load a fresh Feather this morning. Maybe a dud? The little twist of the dial shouldn't make a night and day difference. Something was amiss that I need to figure out. Post shave feels fine, no redness, no razor burn and I am smooth.

    Have a great day!

  6. I am sorry about the rough shave Jim. Something does not sound right. I am sure you will get it sorted out. At any rate the photo was stunning.

  10. Thanks Clint. I cannot image 5 hernia surgeries. She has been up a few times and she has had some pain killers. It is just going to take a while.
  11. Thanks, Clint.
    Yeah, tomorrow is another day.

  14. Outstanding pic and gear Jim! Weeps do happen, but it is rare for you. It may be you just added a teeny bit more pressure than you realize instead of the blade or angle. You are an experienced DE shaver so I don't think it was the angle because the razor looks like it has a normal geometry. It could be the Feather blade if you had a number of shaves with it. I never heard of a fresh Feather blade be dull. However, there is always a first time. My bet is the pressure, but I have been known to be wrong as some 30DC members have reminded me.
  15. Thank you Joe.
  16. Sorry about the rough shave but the Pics just keep getting better. Word on the street is they're IG Worthy ;)
  17. Thanks, Joe.
Maybe too much pressure but doubtful. If something doesn't feel good on my face I wouldn't push it harder. I'll swap out the blade and see how tomorrow goes.
