    Thanks for the kind comments about the brush refurbish Eric (maineyooper),Paul (mrdoug) and Ken (Fluffy). It worked fine today but this knot is just VERY stiff. More than I care for but it will sit here for awhile as I focus on some other brushes as the knots for them arrive. The Baron's Choice from Rob (ExtraProtein) continues to shrink with steady use and is one of my more enjoyable 1508.5's I've done. It is a favorite of his Grandfather Bruno. Bruno, you Sir have impeccable taste !! :happy088: Have a stupendous day Everyone !!

    AoS Lavender~~Simpson "The Hive"~~Barbasol FH/Gillette Platinum~~Agua Lavanda Puig
    Still shaving when I can. Missed yesterday, so there was some real stubble to tackle this morning.
    Stuck with the Barbasol/Gillette combo with the addition of some AoS tallow soap.
    The Hive was buzzing with excitement at the chance to whip up the     Valobra-produced product.
    Made it through the shave without incident, but decided that this would be the Gillette Platinum's swan-song.

    As a summer fragrance, this cannot be bested. This juice is the "dry lavender cologne splash",
    which I decant into a small atomizer. You can also purchase for peanuts, the large,
    plastic bottle, which is essentially an after shower splash. People love it, but there is
    almost no longevity.

    Wonderful shave report and photo Dave. The brush restoration does look fantastic. Since it is a synthetic knot don't be afraid to really put pressure on the knot while lathering. I have found this really helps synthetic knots loosen up some.

    Happy Thursday everyone. I decided to pull out the Godrej Lime shave cream this morning. With the hot muggy cloudy day a burst of citrus seemed in order. As usual the Ōku brush felt fantastic face lathering. Three passes and touch ups just missed the baby but came close enough to give the little guy a scare. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday.
