Very smart Myles. The trick is you really don’t know anything until they teach you and tell you you know it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am happy that you are pleased with the Aesop bowl, Clint. I find it to be the perfect vessel for lathering.
The bowl really does work well. I found it to work better than a couple of pottery bowls Swati gave me. Plus it just looks good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Busy day and late shave. I did find a little time to help my son put a couple of gauges in the Farmall Super M this morning. Check out that oil pressure at an idle. I needed an autopilot shave today. Colibri (Hummingbird) with .80mm plate and Voevoda handle. Feather blade (3) Razorock 400 synthetic Stirling Noir soap and splash Awesome and I do mean awesome three pass shave. The Stirling soap was just top notch and the Colibri was just smooth out of the gate and across the finish line. This shave was so relaxing I feel asleep two times during the shave. My better half is improving and I have a new found respect for nurses. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Fantastic news Danny. I’m glad your wife is feeling better. Automatic shaves are nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saturday Shave Stirling Piacenza flavored software and lathering hardware. Feather AS-D2 Feather blade (5), I think? I was going to repeat yesterday, but decided on the AS-D2 (cause it was there). If I had a nickel for every time I had a desire to buy one of these, it would have been free. Glad I finally caved in. It has been a long time since I ‘had’ to shave every day for work, so when I do it is just because I like it now. If I had an AS-D2 back then it would have been wonderful. I consider it and the Gillette Super Speed the 2 most intuitive DE shavers I have. Hmm, I wonder if shave forums would exist today if Gillette had never stopped making Super Speeds. Either way, great daily drivers they both are. Great shave. Great finish. I usually don’t ‘chase the baby, but it was fun today to do so.
Oh man, I hope you and the family have a speedy recovery. At least the Covid has not impacted the quality of your shaves.
