June 13 SOTD Good morning guys! Shavette Shave #271 Dovo Shavette Personna Hairshaper Blade (3) MrEE LE #10 Cashmere Brush CF Cryogen SS and AS Maggard's Alum Block Whiskers: 36 hrs I decided to break out Cryogen SS and AS. Did 2 passes without any pickups for a BBS shave. Did my normal postshave routine to end this nice face shave I am still feeling the menthol a half hour after the shave. In addition, I decided to do a headshave with Cremo, the G E Jones Shakesharp with 2 half Rockwell blades and Stirling Coconut Lime AS. 3 passes plus pickups gave me a smooth as a billiard ball result. Sorry, no pics on the headshave gear because it was a spur of the moment headshave. Have an awesome day guys!
V (5) is meant to be the max setting. Past V and you start going around again. Basically unscrewing the topcap for blade removal. There was still enough spring tension to keep the topcap from wiggling where I had it provided I kept a light touch. Much passed that the topcap will wiggle easily because it's almost completely unscrewed. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thanks Patrick! Imo, the Shakesharp is really the best razor to use for headshaves. It is efficient. It also is very difficult to nick yourself with it.
