    Wednesday morning’s Grand Freeze:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Astra Green day 3
Master Soap Creations Peppermint Lime SS
    Prep ASB
    B&M Arctique AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick
    Bleu de Chanel EdP

My face ended up frozen to the max thanks to this great setup - even the mentholated pre shave soap from Stirling gave me a pretty good kick, it did a terrific job of cleaning my skin and softening my stubble, the Peppermint Lime soap’s delicious scent filled my bathroom, the lather and slickness were great thanks to the tallow formula, the menthol sensation really hit me hard, and I couldn’t ask for better postshave comfort. Thanks to the Prep and the Arctique aftershave my skin felt fantastic and so frozen. What a brilliant BBS shave this was!

    Be well and safe!

Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Stainless steel Lupo.72-Mfg 2021, excellent mid range, easy to manipulate the face, excellent quality & design, a joy to use IMO.
Blade: Gillette Wilkinson sword saloon (3) sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity. Good bang for the $.
Soap: Razorock Irish country side, mild scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow 26 mm brown whiskers, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, great scrub + great lather painter.
Great value and a joy to use, always liked rainbows.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock XXX with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS, BBs + no irritation + no weepers = [IMG] excellent shave with my RR Lupo .72 with a Wilkinson sword blade.

Club and Star 100, both date from c.1946. That's a guess for the Club as I find no ads for it but I do for its Hospital twin in '47. While the heads in both razors are virtually identical in geometry the Club is slightly (2g) beefier), and for whatever reason I feel less blade with it. Very slight edge to the Club. [IMG]

First use of a straight for sometime now due to some issues of late that rehab and a procedure and recovery has now allowed.

So I thought I would return with A&E’s Kaizan
A new 26mm High Density Silvertip Manchurian Ultralux Badger ‘Red Forge’ from Rich Man Shaving
Made it three passes without issue.
    whew.
