Are Franken-Razors permitted? I much prefer 3 piece razors so I can use them on a handle of choice. I use SE more than DE these days, but I still really like my Old Type pictured on a BRW Improved handle. It isn't cased, not particularly rare nor valuable, but I get fantastic shaves using it. If franken-razors aren't permitted, let me know and I will scurry down the lane.
I got a friend of mine into DE shaving a few years ago using a triangle tech. After a year, I gifted him a Weber Bulldog handle followed up with a red and black set new deluxe. Not the prettiest razor, but after the first head shave with it, he said he is done looking for razors as this one was perfect.
very cool.after deciding not to replate mine i polished it up and bought the carve handle for it.the original handle was too light imo and not in the greatest shape.i currently have a mint New LC cap on it.i need to use it more often..
awesome Jim.i am down to my brit set and my red and black set now.i passed on the gold ones..i feel a tinge of guilt..miss them..
