I wanted to give this tool a run on my sharpening stuff since I surface shaped them all on ‘that evil plate’.
Testing by packing peanut and today’s test shave confirm it is liked better than ever.
Tuscany is a mostly floral type smell containing cypress, bergamot, and violet. It was marketed as a unisex scent that is supposed to be discontinued. Since it makes The Max Headroom List of Most Glorious, I stocked up on it.
High performance/low priced brush in the cool but pricey bowl.
Delightful shave it was.
Honing liquid. While I’m normally a blue collar beverage guy, I wanted to treat myself to some Scotch from the eye level shelf. Not being a connoisseur of this stuff I figured I should consume by prescribed methods. Years ago, I tried to acquire a taste for Scotch on stuff a friend had. I’m pretty sure it was found on a shelf you needed to bend down to get to, and it just never struck my fancy. I started off neat, then with a little water, then ice, and finally with cola, which I liked best. I get the whole complexity of flavors and taste thing, but please don’t tell anybody I dumped some coke in my booze, it might start another uprising.
Disclaimer - this is stuff I do, for me. And the only guy I needed to make happy, is just that.
