Back with the Old Type/Sharp Star combination.
The soap is the discontinued, tallow AoS Sandalwood. These pucks last a very long time
and whip up into an amazing and ethereal lather. Slick, creamy and protective.
Still bowl-lathering with the Aesop stainless steel bowl. It's ultra-easy to use
and the design does a great job of keeping the lather in the bowl.

Ranking this razor in my den for blade-feel, I would give it an 8/10.
My 2011 Mühle R41 gets a 10/10.
Oud is on the fragrance-menu today.








Avon has a big name, but has a European presence not well-known over here.
This is one of their top scents to my nose. It reminiscent of YSL's original M7,
a bottle of which I do own, so I can verify the similarity.
Nice juice.​

using some product i haven't used since last summer this week
have a few.
fine white whale lather built by the 400 synthetic
smooth 2 passer in the usual manner.
light salty scent,quite refreshing
awesome,perfect for a hot day.

Had a quick 2 pass weekend shave yesterday and a nice 3 passer this morning, both with the same hardware and soap. Loaded in a fresh Polsilver and had great results. After 8 or so daily uses of the soap in a row, this happened:

I'm not going to lie- at this point I don't feel like I will miss using it.
