Thank you for the great information ..... In the shaving realm of things, I'm mainly interested in acquiring scents more than razors and soaps. That changed since I first started into wet shaving years back.

Same for me, nothing beats a nice shave with a straight razor and nice scent!

Barbasol didn't manufacture razors, they just were just branded as such, manufactured under patent by Conrad Razor and variously branded. The unbranded razor like yours is identical to the Barbasol branded one.
