french tech/platinum combo knocked down the whiskers
in 2 smooth passes.
liberal splash of frigid lemon..
i don't use this set often so the effect is

Just went back to the Cella after shave lotion bottle, cause I had a comparison thought about it this morning, after I posted. Wanted to confirm. Just compared the Cella I used this morning to Terre d' Hermes, Fine's L'Orange Noir, and Italian Citrus. The Fine after shaves I have the small plastic sample sprayers from Maggard's, not full glass bottles.

It reminds me of a very subdued/recessed 'near clone' of Terre d'Hermes EdP I have. TdH lasts all day easily, the Cella just barely into the second hour after application (if that). Fine's L'Orange Noir lasts a few hours, but still, to my nose, not as prominent as the TdH.

 

ehh....not entirely.

I'm honestly happy/content with what I have, as I did over purchase soaps/creams and aftershaves/EdTs in early 2019 and through late 2020. I also have a handful of impulse purchased safety razors.

The limitation 'pressure' if you want to call it that, is more related to the last few items I wanted to round out my little shaving world. Some of those rarely come across a BST (and I've watched a few get sold), or are new products coming as a limited release (like what happened to @jluc with the Sailor). The other frustration was/is the last razor to round out my '7 day straight set' from one vendor imploded. Even if I hadn't agreed to a NB'21, it was planned as a slower purchase year late in 2020 anyway.

 

ok thank you .good to know.i have a bottle or 2 of the italian citrus.stocked up during it's last shortage a year or 2 back.l'orange noir as well.does. the blue cella soap lather as well as the classic red?my red got tossed as it went funny in the tub.

 

very cool.stick with the NB.I blew it again but i have been offloading stuff this year,with very little purchases,mostly new Burberry frags.the once in a lifetime razor acquisitions will always blow an NB for me.

 

@clint64 used the Cella Blue Soap container today....he could compare to the Cella Red Soap maybe a bit better? I used the Cella Blue shaving cream tube, and it lathered just as quickly as I recall the Cella Red soap container lathering, but that's been a couple weeks, fwiw.

And...the little bit of cream by the twist off cap had hardened a little....so when the squeeze finally made it move, it put a lot in the bowl, that's why I had an over abundance of lather this morning.
