I wanted to try Cella but I knew I would not like the cherry almond scent of the original. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I do like that the blue rinses clean and doesn’t leave a white residue on everything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

June 25, 2021 WSC/Yates Winning Razor Gillette 7 O’clock Black Simpson CH3 Synthetic Mitchell’s Wool Fat Grand Bay Rum Aftershave Happy Friday everyone. Sticking with the Fat for the Fat Friday shave. I have come to really enjoy this soap and it will be a permanent part of my shave den. I have been so impressed with my Yates razor and my WSC Merica razor made by Yates that I had to try their new collaboration, the "Winning" razor. The razor is made by Yates for Wet Shaving Club. At $50 shipped for an American made stainless steel razor, I just had to give it a go. The "Winning" razor is machined finished unlike the stonewashed finish of the Merica. The handle felt comfortable in the hand and I had no issues with it even when wet. The razor head is designed in such a way that it makes finding the correct angle very easy. During use the razor has minimal blade feel and is pretty quiet. Three passes and touch ups ended in an automatic drama free BBS. A splash of Grand Bay Rum aftershave and I am ready for a short day at the office. I am leaving after lunch to visit Maya for the weekend. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday.
Thanks, fellas! I wasn't going to take a picture this morning. I set my stuff on the counter and saw the reflection in the mirror and ended up with that picture. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Congrats on the new razor, Clint! It sounds like a winner. Safe travels. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thanks, Clint. Doing a little sightseeing, a little shopping and a lot of eating. We're heading home today and we'll get back on track with our food choices. Well, maybe tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
June Focus Old Spice~~dubl duck #4~~1941 Gillette Ranger Tech/Wizamet SI June is almost history and this week is too. Finished with a classic, American product and unmistakeable scent, vintage Old Spice. The lather, as you can see, is uber-luxurious and borders on butter cream. That's for you, @wchnu Thanks go out to my very supportive wife and sisters-in-law, who have been helping me deal with my mother. Today, I am moving her into an assisted living residence, where she will be receiving hospice care. This has been quite an ordeal and is not yet over. I have been noticeably absent on this forum, save my shaves and have also decided to permanently relinquish my role as 30DC captain of the ship, if you will. Thanks to Charlie for his brilliant leadership this month and to whomever takes over the role, thank you in advance for generously giving of your time to steer this amazing thread. I will still post and postulate, but now as a simple member.
I have heard of Wickham's shave soap. There is the famous Pasteur Pharmacy in NYC that is like the mecca for wetshavers. They have a wide range of shaving soaps, aftershaves, etc. from the US and other nations. I am sure they have Wickham soaps. I live 55 miles east of NYC so I should eventually make a trip there.
Thanks, Joe! It'll be nice to have another Man of Leisure on board. I hope our founder @jgreenepa is doing well. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
