  1. Nice, Dave! Congrats!
Your description really makes me want to add a Blackbird Ti to the collection. I think I have every Blackland offering so what's one more.

  3. Thanks Jim, I swear I don't know how the difference in metal could make such a stark contrast. I was skeptical when others were raving because that can happen with a new release but it's the real deal for me too.

  4. Great above-the-shoulder shave Barry. 12 yrs ago, I started using head blades to shave my head. They are the blades that have rollers on them to make headshaving easier. It got expensive and moved to disposable razors. Since I started wetshaving 3 yrs ago, I use DE's, SE's and sometimes my straights or shavettes to do it. I never looked back. I shave my head every 2 to 3 days to keep it nice and tight. Habe a good day!

  6. I heard the same about the H&S PO76 so I bought both the 17-4 and Ti. Other than the weight I don't notice a difference. I've read this so many times about the Blackbird my skepticism has given way to curiosity.

  8. I know what your saying exactly and it's something only we can answer for ourselves for sure. With the amazing array of razors you have, I have to agree with you though....................What's one more ? :happy108:

  9. Just a reminder.

Here is what these high end razor exchange loans resemble.

  10. Thanks, Joe....The Gillette Guard is something i like to go back too once in a while....I've seen the head blades and was tempted to purchase one, but i prefer to use a DE razor for head shaving as i now have the confidence to do so...Yours-Barry.

I am usually not up this early on weekends, but I have to do some shopping this morning to get some milk and cereal etc. I don't want to look like I just crawled out of bed so I decided to shave this morning.
I just love Cella Red. The smell and the lather is just awesome. It really makes the razor glide so smoothly down my face. Fortunately, the Stirling brush did not lose a bristle today. One WTG and one ATG gave me a near BBS shave without any bloodshed or irritation. Some people would call it a BBS shave, but I have some invisible patches that I can feel on my neck. If I did a half pass, then I am sure that I would get a full dead-on BBS. I am satisfied with my 2 pass shaves and really that is what counts. Finished with my usual postshave routine by splashing a generous portion of Old Spice. I shaved my head last night with the Rocky T and Razorock Classic so I covered my dome with the Old Spice aftershave as well. Have a great Sat. guys!

  17. Thanks Dave! I just had my breakfast one of my favorite places. Bacon and eggs on a seeded roll with coffee and OJ. Now, I am off to do some grocery shopping. Later this morning, it will be cardio at the gym and then do some cleaning up at my place. Yes, I will be busy. However, I will take a break to read and comment here.
