  2. Thank you! It's a D1, silo doors look brand new, however some plate wear on the top and sides of the toggle tip...I think it was well used and cared for, and will call it thumb wear.
Who's got a spare case for me? :)

  6. The French Tech open end handle... I've never seen an open end in that style of handle from Gillette. Fantastic.

  8. Had to post on my first shave with the toggle.
Dedicated to my grandfather, who's toggle i threw out 30+ years ago when I was a kid because it was rickety...what I wouldn't do to have it back!
Also dedicated to @IAmTheJody, who sadly sold his off before ever trying it.

I expected a shave like a Fatboy, but found it quite mild at on 5. I typically go at it on 9 with my Fatboys... I'll certainly be taking this toggle off the shelf to use in the future... on 9.
I really do like the balance on this razor. It's a bit different than a Fatboy. I'd say less head heavy, more evenly than a Fatboy... I'll have to better compare the two and comment later

I'm curious to search and read some of the threads I've seen over the years comparing the two and pay better attention.
Anyone with a current comment off the top of their head I'm curious!

Finally it called for a rearranging of my main display... the top shelf is truly now top shelf only :)
