Yes / no. My memory isnt the best, but i believe either Enrico or jayaruh cleaned it up for me but i set the knot. Ive have done several brushes before and its not hard. I usually send them out now only because i have items to barter for services and im lazy. Lol but its not hard at all. Harbor freight has cheap calipers to measure the size of the hole so you can order the knot. Use silicon to set it incase you want to pull it out later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Schick Sunday shave, June 27th 2021 Razor: Schick E2 Canadian variant, Mfg 1930's-40's not date codes, Excellent mid range, light weight & easy to manipulate. Blade: Personna SS PTFE (2) very sharp, great longevity, tends to smooth out over time, predictable. Soap: Razorock What the puck orange, orange citrus scent mainly, excellent lather qualities IMO. Brush: Yaqi 26 mm 2 band badger Moka express, excellent lather generator, pillow like softness tips, great scrub + good lather painter. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave: Italian barber Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + minor irritation + 2 chin weepers= excellent shave with my Schick E2 with a very sharp Personna coated blade. Have some great shaves!

RR Hawk V3 OC Schick Proline (1) Semogue BC Mistura 26mm Stirling Orange Chill Superior 70 Bay Rum I have spent the last 5 weeks with the standard V3 Hawk and have to say that the OC version is a completely different beast. With the proline blade, IMO it is every bit as aggressive as the 2011 R41 which was my previous king of the hill. Two passes on 4 days growth for one of the closest shaves I have ever had. This is my 3rd shave with this razor and I have given myself a couple weepers each time I use it. I will give it some more time, but this is definitely bordering on too much for me. The standard version is mild but really effective, definitely a favorite.
