Thank you Joe...we've had a few weeks where the humidity has been horrible in the UK, but nothing on the scale the US is experiencing at the moment...I personally don't like the sun, I would rather be cold than hot, at least you can warm up, it's hard to do the opposite, especially when you work next to a steel mill blast furness. Plenty of fluids, and keep in the shade.
Take care. Yours - Barry.

    Thanks, Blair!

Cavendish is a good one. Stirling Haverford, A&E Vanille de Tabac and Hemingway Accoutrements are similar and favorites as well.

A colleague of mine gave me a bottle of Angel’s Envy. Friday evening my wife, Anthony and I went out to a very nice steak house to celebrate my retirement. I had a neat glass of the Angel’s Envy. It was extremely smooth and delicious.

I’ll pass on the museums. My mother tortured us at the Met when I was younger, especially when the Frescoes where in town. It did not turn my crank.

I get it. I have never been to the MoMA, the Guggenheim Museum, etc. I have been to the 9-11 Museum years ago. I was 61 and you could only get a senior ticket if you were 62 and above. However, my charm and persistance gave me the senior rate. The 9-11 museum is a must see.

no shave today..just not bothered.but did get to sorting and starting to refine my keepers.another bunch being passed along.not so much into collecting but keeping the faves from the bunch.i hope to one day have around 25 total.:)

    my 4 fav's.

well here it is,my 4 favorite 3 piece razors
these will stay together as they are now.
    l to r top-brit new /tech hybrid/french fat handle,nickel new SC/tech ball end handle
    l-r bottom-brit new rfb/french thin handle,canadian fb tech/canadian military handle.
these took a bit of time to acquire and build but it's worth it to me.
all are very well balanced, nimble, heavy and smooth/efficient.
no complete sets were ruined as these were all bits from partially damaged or sets missing bits or cases.
cigar box is lined with foam and houses them.all of course all parts are interchangeable.;)
of course i have favorite tto razors and such but i could easily keep these and not need another.
