Early morning shave,

Finishing my shaving week off with a wonderful smooth performance from my much loved 1970's aluminum handle Gillette tech (ENG). The Chinese GWS blade are equally as good as the Indian version performing with efficient smoothness and like it's Indian cousin paired together excellently with each razor throughout the week.

A Enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Creightons Sensitive PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

To celebrate 10 yrs of single edge shaving, I grabbed the same gear I used on July 1, 2011. I no longer have the brush so I used my mixed knot Semogue. There was no need for the alum as today was a fantastic 2 pass shave with a little blade buffing along the jaw line. Finished with some Superior 70 kicked up with TSD M-Bomb. Enjoy your day.

My grandfather used to complain about getting old. Crap just happens after seven decades of walking this planet. After a two month absence from this forum in the hands of rehab pros, I’ve finally got the old carcass working again. I’ve needed to adapt my shaving routine a bit, but I’m back in the saddle. The question’s out as to whether I’ll be able to use my dominant left hand for straight shaving for a while, but I managed a one handed straight shave with my non-dominant right hand. The mug shave was acceptable with only two small nicks on my left side where I used to shave with my left hand. The dome shave was also a bit bumpy. The LeCoq Cagehead cleared away the dome stubble, but did take a great deal more focus to use my right hand. In any case It’s great to be back and looking forward to improving my shaves day by day again.

The Cella Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #1 Silver Tip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AutoStrop A2 Safety Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

There’s definitely a difference between the glycerine version of Cherry Freeze and the tallow one - the scent of the glycerine version is nice but somehow I prefer the tallow version’s scent. The lather of this one is not as slick as what you’d get from the tallow one but then again no glycerine soap can give you that kind of slickness. The skincare is pretty good, I must say and the menthol sensation is good. The Prep and the Aqua Velva aftershave were a great way to finish off. Today’s shave was excellent!
