Well I was just browsing on the internet. You all know the story. Lol! I bought a new shavette. No, I did not get the Essence. I got the Equinox Professional Razor (Shavette) It caught my eye because you load the entire DE blade. That's right! I don't have to snap a blade in half. I use the same side of the blade and when it dulls, then I can use the other side. Here's a picture of the razor and how the blade is loaded:

Friday July 2, 2021 Razor: Shake Sharp MK-1 Blade: Gillette Platinum (4) Brush: @Hembree Delrin Soap: DC Trismegitus AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70 AS 2: Terre D'Hermes Splash Fragrance: Terre D'Hermes EDT Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 968 Celebrating Jeff's @jgreenepa being well enough to post again, so I pull out one of his favorites that he enabled me into finding - The Shake Sharp MK-1 Razor. Danny's Delrin Brush whipped up the creamy goodness to swipe off. Have a great day Folks !!
Thank you Joe. I guess you will have to pick up another tub. I usually bin all my blades except for the GEM Stainless at 5 shaves. I may attempt to see if I can get a couple more out of the Kai since this shave was extremely close and comfortable.
Welcome to the 30dc, hope you enjoy your stay! Great group of soaps, I’ve used them all. Still have Proraso in rotation. Lots of great stuff there. Most of us go with first names here, b1hart = Blair
Excellent focus. You will definitely improve your shaves. Post any questions right here on this thread.
Great advice, Blair. It should be noted that the hair on my neck grows towards my ears, almost parallel to the ground. The ATG pass must move from my ears to my chin. The handle gets in the way when using a straight.
