Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Semogue 1470.
Face Lather.
Lather : Williams Mug Shaving Soap.
Blade: Personna Gem modified PTFE. (D3)
Razor: Valet Auto Strop VC1.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils. + 3 Menthol Crystals, Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Lidl Cien Aqua ASL./Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave..

After the wonderful efficient shave with the assertive Gem Micromatic OC i only needed 2 passes + a pick up pass for my face to be silky smooth again....The valet auto strop VC1 is such pleasure to shave with from it's maiden shave i found my 'sweet spot' after a few seconds and was instantly in charge and at ease with this mild efficient vintage shaving tool.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups comfortable silky smooth shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB which paired together wonderfully with the Cien Aqua ASL.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

After a period of absence due to nagging commitments, today I bring back the window, in better shape than ever.
During my absence from the public scene it I found some soaps forgotten for years and, the Weleda, was a very pleasant surprise.

Made with organic and carefully selected raw materials, it has excellent performance and a lovely lavender scent at a very reasonable price.
When I tried it I was a newbie, caught in the maelstrom of novelties, I had not been able to appreciate it.

I do now, coram populo!

The Cella Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #1 Silver Tip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Superior Lather Catcher Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The Karve Copper. Shaves just as good as the Brass version (the only other alloy model that I own from Karve). It is just a superbly crafted safety razor. Without question, it’s the smoothest threaded stud to handle action I’ve ever experienced. CB/Karve has their business & sales issues that I have no care in explaining nor the time to dissect on what has gone wrong in the past to present for this razor maker. One thing is for certain though and I say it without any reservations whatsoever. This is a world class produced razor that not only competes but, also hangs side by side with the best artisan razor producers (Blackland, Timeless, Wolfman, Rocnel, ATT, HomelikeShaving and yes, Razorock plus a few others) here & abroad. It’s not a jewel like production as in a Wolfman which is on another level in terms of finish but, in terms of craftsmanship, quality, shave performance and price value it’s an elite level product, hands down. A wonderful day and shaves to all….

Fernando’s soaps have me addicted - it’s almost impossible for me to stay away from them for more than two days. This Pole Position is tallow based like all his soaps, the scent is a clone of CK One which I think is so nice, the lather is insanely thick, rich, and slick, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as comfortable. The Nivea Cool Kick balm to me smells lousy but it performs very well so that’s why I’m willing to continue buying it, and the Don Donato aftershave smells great - not only that, it’s got a good cooling effect. Another super duper BBS shave!
