  1. It's easy to get too much lather with sophisticated, magnificent GOO than with soaps. Just have to work harder(with the brush)with the latter.

  3. You may like the Stirling barbershop better than Arko.

  4. Noble Otter made a big splash as a new artisan soap a few years back. I haven't seen it used for a long time on the forums, and social media. You broke the drought by shaving with Noble Otter today. I have never tried it, but I have heard it is a great soap so that is why I was surprised that it hasn't been used more often.

  5. Noble Otter appears regularly in the places I look and as I stated earlier their new releases usually sell out quickly.

So, who is in the forefront?

  6. Thanks Danny! Lately, I have been tweaking my technique. I have been increasing my hydration and doing a little more softer touch on an already soft touch on the razor. I am making my strokes slightly longer and buffing a little more. After many hundreds of open blade shaves, I still am open to tweaking my routine from brushloading, lathering and shaving. Take care.
  7. Thanks Charlie. There are a lot of "things" down here. :D

Hope you and Kathy and a wonderful day!
  8. Sounds great Joe. I think we all are continually tweaking our techniques. The old saying is....your never too old to learn.
  9. Great Blackbird shave, Dave! Enjoy the day!

  18. Thanks, Danny! Had a great drive this morning! I expect I’ll take it out again this afternoon if my littlest grandson doesn’t show up! Grandma Lauren made the mistake of sharing her homemade brownies and chocolate chip cookies! He shouted that he wanted to come back today when he left yesterday!
