Many years ago I found an artisan who made this piece for me outstanding quality and it's held up for years. Can't find his contact information but her sign his products RAB. I don't know whether or not he's still in business. Anybody have any leads on this guy or any other artist and who can produce products like this? @Old School showed me his new scuttle today and it made me think about Robert Becker and the scuttle I used to have that he made for me. He does really fantastic work. I eventually came to learn that scuttles are not for me and sold it off, but he sure did make some beautiful pieces.

Sometime around 2013 or 2014, Robert announced he was no longer taking orders for scuttles due to health reasons. Said he was going to focus on other things. not sure if he ever returned other than a new listing on eBay every blue moon...

I received a really nice personalized copper bowl off Etsy for Father’s Day last year…. Should last a few generations.
