  2. Great Vector shave, Dave! I love mine! Have you tried the Colonial General V2. I like it just as much as my Vector. Enjoy your day!
  3. For this morning's shave, I closed out the trifecta of Gillette Foamy and Osage Rub. Nothing fancy, just another fine shave. I did get a Knick up high on the left(by the sideburn). The Osage "cooled it off". N. Porcupine Alley may be asking me to leave it alone there and get another mustache going, as it continues to be stubborn there. Nah, I'll just be especially careful around there. I'm working on making a daily habit of the "ice-chipping" routine at the jawline. Course I need to be careful there too, but it's a good technique. No problems at Cactus-good work. Due to the Knick, this one gets Most Excellent.
  4. Lovely color coordinated staging and shave, Jim! Enjoy your day!

  10. Thanks Jeff. Back to soaps for a while, as I continue to try to get in more soap shaves in the summers.

  11. Thanks Blair...I was a bit bothered by where that Knick was. I'll make sure I don't get another one that high again.

  13. @clint64 , do you recall how many days it took between the time Swati ordered your Rocky Mtn. Barber Shave, and when you actually received it? I was expecting mine Saturday-still not here. Course there was the holiday, and all.

  18. 7 July 2021
    Razor: DE89
    Blade: Rapira
    Brush: Proraso Prof.
    Soap: Arko
    AS: Alum Block

same combination with the July 5th shave. it is a hot day so i didnt use hot water to wet my face, and ended with little tingling during alum block.
it is not an irritation but i would like to fine tune to avoid this tingling, any recommendation to replace hot water during summer?
