  3. Thanks Joe. I appreciate your input. Everyone has a little different way of doing things and it comes back to what works for that individual. It is a learning experience for sure. I knew about keeping the blades oiled...it does not take long for rust to set up.

  4. Very nice shave, Joe......love seeing the Delrin getting some love. I found a shavette to match the Delrin handles. A little pricey though but I like it....no I did not buy it.

  8. That's the beauty of the art of straight razor shaving because the basics must be followed, but there is also room for individualism.

  9. Thanks so much Joe! The ABCo should make more appearances in the rotation I'm thinking after today's shave....

  12. Thanks Jeff!

Very nice Tolga! I oscillate between hot and cold shaves....no season in mind, just kind of which faucet lever I decide to grab at the shave moment....although cold times do tend to have warm shaves more often.

Love the warm tones and shave combination Jason! The Supply Co razor is an intuitive shaver for sure.

Nice Joseph! Progress is progress I say. I'll try to grab an image with the next shave of how my grip is for the 'near toe down' strokes I do from my right earline to middle neck. That's where my growth is from the neck to the ear, at an upwards angle, so it's a mix of XTG/ATG. Smiling blades really help this last clean up in my case, shorter blades a bit also (like the DX).

Oh my....that is one pretty blue/cream Ever Ready 100 handle Gary. Wow....really! Super nice combination.

Fun Clint! Matched the soaps today. Very nice setup!

  14. Super cool Japanese frameback Joe! The weather has definitely switched.....besides our north Texas metroplex running cooler than I can ever remember for this summer (I probably just jinxed it).....but the weather patterns have started coming from the opposite direction. Normally we have most come from the NW or W......now it's been from the SE the past 30+ days....

    Nice combination Bill!
  15. Thanks Joe! Wifey and kids added hash browns and drop biscuits. I cheated off the low carb kick for a meal, had to have a drop biscuit with a huge dollop of buttah.
  16. …and my plan is out the window. You have inspired me to bring out the amazing Felce in the morning, Gentlemen. Off to take a pic…

  19. Ok, so I have a beef with this.....I don't see how the NB '21 applies if everything involved with the project is with materials and an old Wade Butcher straight razor that I already own, and intend to 'refurbish' myself, some materials acquired in 2019, and some in early 2020. I bought a saw for several uses.
