Thanks for your answers on the scoop question. Interestingly, Rocky Mtn. Barber Co gave the advice of dipping a slightly damped brush in to get a small amount, then to lather it on the face&neck. I gather the company didn't mean to say to swirl it around, as we do with shave soaps, just to dip the brush in and work with what comes on to the brush. I will try the spoon routine, too, though, to see what I like best.

What's a "snurdle"?

About one fifth of a dollop (give or take).

A rounded scoop using @IAmTheJody ’s Baskin Robbins spoon.

If you need a visual think about the volume of an almond or maybe a peanut M&M

I scoop it out by skimming the surface with a small spoon.

The Colgate Mug Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick M Adjustable Razor (7) with a Schick Proline B20 Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The 400 beat the brakes off of the Fat this morning. It is hard to beat the Fat......just good stuff.

Two passes on the checks and three on the neck with no blood loss. I'm pleased that my stropping seems to be working out....even though I'm slow with it.

New RFB/BIC. Excellent shave with my new NRFB, definitely one of the best from a Gillette razor. Pick-ups on my head were few but the also new Winning Razor from WSC found them exceptionally well. This is second time I've used it in this fashion and I already can tell it will be a favorite.

This shave really put icicles in my face - the Glacial Black Cherry is a menthol atom bomb with a beautiful scent as well as awesome lather which is so slick and protective. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Osage Rub aftershave completed the job beautifully. Am I ever BBS!
